This just arrived, I found it for sale on another site. 14 gauge with 48 inch barrel.Roy is a friend and only lives 12 miles from me. One of the best in the country. He also makes a fine knife!

I have two smoke poles made by Roy, and they're both prized possessions. My first was a 14 bore French-influenced English fowling firelock that he custom made for me a long time ago when he still lived in Georgia. It looks a lot like yours. The other was one of his own, a .45 Southern "poor boy" rifle. He's got both featured on his website.

You're absolutely right. Roy's a great builder. I didn't know he made knives too. Probably a good thing for me, because as much as I love blades I'd be broke!
