I recently bought a Irish style shot charger without the bag, just the charger. I want to make my own bag but am not sure how the bag attaches to the charger. Any help>

It seems like the Irish scoup chargers are all the go & loseing springs at a great rate of knots . Re the top some likley had a tapering end you can bind on with the fake sinew or cat gut fish line but this isn't common like it was once (Too many cats objected suppose ) perhaps leather with a dome headed screw to secure it not seeing the top leaves advise in the dark .so a photo would help . I’m working on this as well, but I’m trying to attach it to a horn to make a shot horn, powder horn set.

I'm also doing that. I attached a drilled wooden plug to the charger head with screws, reamed the horn with a tapered reamer and filed the plug to match. Will probably attach it to the horn with glue and pins to make sure it's secure.
