Hey All,

I'm currently refinishing an old CVA Derringer and the trigger guard is beyond saving (original owner cracked it in half.) I've tried brazing but it's an awkward crack so I'm looking at some advice on replacing it.

Deer Creek Products is out of stock and I haven't had much luck tracking one down from Traditions (also not sure if that would fit or not.)

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I just looked at two of my almost fifty year-ish old CVA/ Jukar pistols. One is a Kentucky and the other is the Colonial Belt Pistol. Both pistols have the same trigger guard. I also have a forty-five-ish year old CVA Derringer. Same trigger guard.

Look on eBay. You might get lucky. I’d expand the search using Kentucky and Colonial trigger guard. :dunno:

Thanks everyone for the advice - I expanded my search and it looks like the CVA Mountain pistol trigger guard may do the trick. It's also in stock at Deer Creek so I'll give it a shot!
