Your welcome! I just wanted to make sure that you knew that the sale prices they have to the end of the month is all inclusive, shipped to your door (this the first time I've bought from them). I also failed to mention that you can mix and match the "Fs" to achieve whatever poundage that you want to order. After the fact, I did realize that they charged a fee for credit card use, but in the end the price per pound is pretty darn good in any climate. I've never tried Schuetzen, but Black Powder Maniac Shooter (love this guy) doesn't have anything but good things to say about Schuetzen, and he shoots a lot of it. Also, just so you know, just about anybody I buy flammables from for use at the shop, charge between $33 to $39 dollars hazmat, no matter the quantity (liquids over a gallon), so I have to order a 5 gal. pail or pallet just to try and offset the hazmat fee.
The hazmat fee they claim is a Federal mandate - is not. The Feds do not mandate that - the shipping companies do.
I did order enough that the fee was waived, but they are not being honest about the fee.
This was copied off GRAFS site a few minutes ago. Excessive fees are just another way that merchants pump up their profits.

I used to complain about Midway shipping and hasmat fees. The club I joined a few years ago has just finished a couple of new pistol bays thanks to the Midway foundation. They contributed 50% of the cost just for the bays. That does not inclued how much they give to our youth program. For me and and fellow club members the higher cost of Midways shipping charges don't come close to what our club has recived from them in matching funds for range inprovements and to promote the shooting sports.
The higher costs are going to a good cause weather you benifit from them only you can decide that.

I bought from Toby and Anna last month.
They were close by so dove over and picked up direct.
Had a great visit and got my powder at a good price.
They are good people.

Travelers Antiques and Trading in Texas, has a special on Schuetzen through the end of the month, 10 lbs. for $225, 20 lbs. for $425, or 25 lbs. for $495 delivered. Hazmat and shipping included in price.
just put in a 10lb order for the travelers schutzen 3f. never used schutzen, sounds like could be good stuff. always used goex

I haven’t bought powder in years, but $30 before shipping seems like a lot for a pound?

I live in MA. There is none within at least 50 miles. If I want to shoot Holy Black I find 5 pounds at a time comes out to just shy of $35 per pound.
Works for me. That is todays reality. It costs more just like everything else. Tho I am looking into getting a ball mill and might give making my own a try.

Placed my order for the 25# deal.
Since I am in Texas - I had to pay state sales tax.
It was still under $22.00 a pound DELIVERED.
I am "group buying" with a couple of friends.
I have shot Schuetzen powder before - and had good performance from it.
I got an email from Midway USA today that stated GOEX black powder products are all discontinued.
Tough world we live in - and it is up to us to change it.
VOTE! and be very careful WHO you vote for.

Just spoke with Toby and should have an invoice tomorrow for 10# mixed of 2f and 3f for $234. I think the last time I bought Goex locally (actually about 280 mile round trip) it was $19.99/lb plus tax and the gas to drive there and back. I'd say their price is pretty good in today's market.

These are great prices on black powder! I would be jumping on a 10lb order if it weren't for the fact I live in a retarded lib-haven state that mandates "no one person may have in his or her possession more than 5 pounds of black powder" without a special permit and a BATF approved powder magazine to store it in. Oh, yeah...and you have to pass an exam and pay a $150.00 fee, as well. It's only good for 3 years, BTW. They don't mention the fact that applying for the permit probably gets you...free of charge!...on a watch list. Check your state and locals before you might inadvertently get yo'sef in a heap o' trouble.
