I have seen pictures of a flintlock revolver made by Collier during the early 1800s. I was wondering if anyone knows of a possible replica that can be purchased?

and...after you finish that little project, we'll send pictures of the same sith Snaphaunce and Matchlock ignition!! :shocked2:

Ouch! Fanning the gun... sharp flint... I cringe just thing about it! :shocked2:

Seriously, though... last year I found a German website with an exploded view of a Collier and a parts list, so I don't know but what somebody over there might actually have made a repro. Otherwise, Pryor Mtn Bill's pistol book has usable plans to build your own... if you have a small machine shop and know how to use it (or better yet, have a friend with same :winking:

seriously, I have seen a revolving pistol, 4 barrel.
The flint fired upper two barrels, twist the barrels, and the second barrels are ready.
I have never seen indexing revolving flintlock pistols.
I wolud imagine the demand for such a pistol would be limited and costly.
An example of limited production, and costly is the Lemat revolver $600, a bit much
Best Regards

Yes, but with the LeMat; in addition to a 9 shot revolver, you get a 20 ga sawed-off shotgun too! Not bad for $600.
