The first video was spot on and I would consider a necessity for the new flintlock shooter.

I always enjoy Mike's videos and this first one on flintlock basics is excellent. I'm looking forward to the others in the series. Can never get enough about flinters.

I do like the way he gets into character. Bet his clothes closest rivals the local Goodwill Shop.

Yup, dressing up like that for a man of his resplendent, uh, stature, must cost a fortune.

this fellow knows his stuff ... wish this resource was available thirty years ago

Be nicer if YouTube wasn’t so damn restrictive on fire arms building.

His videos have been a great source for me when I started getting back into C&B guns a few years back... Lots of information tucked away in that noggin of his, I'm just thankful he's got a way to share it...

By the way, Mike has a separate, non-YouTube site called mikebeliveau.com. It offers some of his current plans, past articles, videos and so forth. I stop by each week.

His site does not work well for me. May be my computer but his pages are dark and frankly the content is limited. I just get frustrated trying to use it. Which is a shame as I really enjoy his videos and writing.

I always enjoy Mike's videos and this new flint offering is superb. and Not just for beginners either. . I consider myself advanced (not expert) and this very useful as well as entertaining.

As for his wardrobe I particularly enjoyed the video about his hats. Of course it started with his LIL griz military style fur felt tricorn identical to mine. A couple of other matches made my day.
