I have a percussion revolver that doesn't have a manufacturer's name on it anywhere. On the right side of the barrel is stamped "Cal. 36 NAVY MODEL - MADE IN ITALY. On the bottom of the barrel is stamped DOM - GARDONE - V.T. The AB proof stamp indicates the pistol was manufactured in 1976. Can anyone tell me which manufacturer made this pistol?

Please check, it is most likely COM, rather than DOM - many have noticed that the letters are poorly struck.

COM is believed to be Contrini Officine Meccaniche di Contrini Giovanni, Gardone VT, via XXIV aprile. Translates in part to "Contrini Mechanical Workshops of John Contrini" He's also a registered gunsmith on the list of Gunsmith's in Italy 1945-1980.

Long gone.

It seems what you posted has been posted before when someone asked the same question some time back, so it makes sense. I remember the Gardone VT part.
