Looking for a Wakizashi or Ko-Katana of Hanwei or better quality. Have an 1851 brass frame ATM in really good shape, no looseness, good bore, to trade; or an earlier 1858 brass frame 1858 Remington in good shape, think it's an FIE. Will trade either for a Hanwei, or Queness, etc. or both for a slightly more expensive sword like a Dojo Pro Ko-Katana. Must have good steel for cutting. Let me know what you have. No junk, please, I need a serious sword. Thank you, George.

You can find very good high quality swords like you are looking for from China on Ebay. They go for $150 or so and they usually will tell you what grade of carbon steel they are using. If you want a clay tempered edge usually a little more. Just stay away from the cheap stuff with the black blade. Some of the stainless is ok too, but the high carbon is usually fantastic. I have made youtube videos chopping wood with one after the armchair internet mavens beat me up for even suggesting it. I have $50 swords from Budk and Ebay that hold an edge great, and never bend, and that can chop wood without falling apart.
