Can't seem to find them online, but I know they exist. I'm talking about the deloading tool that uses a pellet gun style CO2 cylinder to blow out a stuck load in your barrel. Anyone know?

If you google " muzzleloader co2 discharger kit for sale", you'll find multiple sources selling them.

I went to Walmart and bought a CO2 bicycle tire inflator. I made a 1/4-28 adapter from an old tire valve. One could thread a tire valve for metric threads. The needle ball inflator can be adapted to match the touch hole so that will work for flintlocks. The screw on CO2 cartridges can be bought cheaply at a bicycle shop.

Thanks for your replies. Turns out I was using the wrong terminology in my searches. You guys are right on. That's why I come to this forum. The abundance of experience and knowledge is impressive.

I would say that with a full co2 charge and a good fit on the nipple you can expect 95% of the time the ball will be expelled. I cannot say about conicals cause i never shoot them. The only thing I caution users of this product is to be sure you clean your barrel in the usual way as if you had fired it. Sometimes, if the powder charge is heavily compacted in the breech, a hole will be blown thru the powder charge leaving a ring of powder stuck to the barrel walls. If not cleaned and left for a long time, rust could form where the powder ring is. Don't ask how I know this.

I've used my air compressor and a rubber tipped air nozzle. Just remove barrel, shove the rubber tip tightly over the flash hole, point barrel in a safe direction, and squeeze trigger on air nozzle. Usually fires the ball about half way up my driveway toward the corn field on the other side of the street.
