Everything here is fine, But getting the Fresh Pregnant Rhinoceros pee is getting more difficult for each batch. First the zoo just does not like those midnight, over the fence, visits. then the rhinoceros is not exactly happy about being followed around with a bucket up close. Those sudden stops and quick turns just sloshes a lot out of the bucket. Then waiting for so many months to is just a pain. The 40 year old virgin is also becoming an oddity if they are honest about it.

Stumpkiller's Moose Milk I've been using it for years.
This is all beyond my Pay grade.....
My simple mix is a 1:10 mix with distilled water. I use the distilled water to prevent rust spots from minerals in tap water when it dries.
Better that the kumquat oil mix or pregnant rhinoceros pee.

Yes I should have been more clear the ratio of one ounce of Ballistol to ten ounces of water. is what I ment
That mix has plenty of water to dissolve the black powder fouling and leaves a nice oily film when dry.
Personally I see no improvement over this simple mix because this method cleans and protects on one easy move.

That is exactly why i have reverted to the Ballistol and water mix. Other than that I have my opinions kept to myself.
My file on formulations from a few different sources. The last entries come from this thread. At rendezvous I clean with spit, at the range a spritz of windex. Lube of choice is bear grease. Probably hundreds of ways that work just fine.

1-6 ballistol to water for patch lube. Don't need to wipe between shots unless I wait more than a half hour or so between shots. I use enough of this mix on the patch that some of it squeezes out when the ball is started. Accuracy stays the same all day. Have won many matches with this lube. I use the same mix to wipe the bore after the match. No rust, as long as I finish cleaning in 24 hours. I use bear oil for hunting.

I keep it simple and use just Ballistol and water. Before flushing and taking the barrel off the stock I plug the nipple and pour some moose milk down the muzzle to fill the breech channel. I let it set 10 min. I then pour out the moose milk and remove the barrel and nipple and flush with soap and water. I find this keeps the breech channel. cleaner compared to just flushing.

It has been a while since I got it from Walmart. I had to order it online and picked it up at the local store. No shipping charges.
