For sale is a like new 1766 Pedersoli Charleville. I bought this musket new two years ago and have never fired it. It does have a few very minor handling marks. I am a SAR Color Guard member but always carry my Brown Bess. I'm getting up there in years and always grabbed my Bess because of weight.

It's a .690... you will probably want .680 ball or .675...but not patched. Better to shoot a bare ball, or to use a paper cup to snug it up to bore size...for accurate shooting. If you decide to try rapid fire as they did for military fighting, you might want to try .670 or even .665 ball. 2Fg black powder for live shooting. Just my humble option.

These retail for around $1,495.00.....But you can steal this one for $1,000.00 plus $70.00 shipping (Insured) in the lower 48. I will only accept PayPal Friends & Family (F&F) payment.

I am not interested in trades and I'm funding my wife's new hobby (Jewelry making). You can make an offer but I'm pretty firm on price.

I'll throw in a period correct bayonet to sweeten the deal.

Here's the specs:

Size: 59-1/8 in.

Caliber: 0.69

Barrel: 44-11/16 in. Round

Sights: Front Sight

Weight: 10.13 lbs.

Stock/Grip: Walnut – front and rear swivels with brown carry sling

Color/Finish: Forged Steel Barrel, Barrel Bands, Butt Plate & Trigger Guard; White Satin Frame
