Selling this older Lyman Great Plains .54 rifle Percussion in excellent condition with a clean bright, strong bore and terrific looking walnut stock, excellent inletting, light handling. The rifle has crisp triggers, barrel, butt plate, hardware are all deeply browned ( not blued, they just appear that way in the pics), side plate and hammer have deep case coloring, walnut stock is nicer than the pics show. It has no mechanical or other issues of any kind. It ships in its original box. This is a very nice rifle, happy to answer any questions, please PM questions. Price @ $550 shipped via USPS MO. Other payment options may be available, please inquire.

One great thing about the rear sight reversed is if it shot great with a short sight radius imagine the accuracy turned around!

If I am not mistaken if the rifle was a kit the serial number on the barrel would start with the letter "K" instead of an "A".
