Its a 42 inch barrel and 20 gauge! I actually found it already made and available on their website. My other gun is browned and I am really loving this "aged finish" on the barrel.

A beautiful fowler and almost all the gun a man needs. Nice lines without any extraneous foofaraw, just the elegance of excellence. you have a very tasteful companion for your sojourns into the sloughs and baygalls. I tip my hat, sir.

Magungo,
That is a beautiful little gun! I predict that you are going love it more than you already do. That is the thing about mz’s and flintlocks in particular; you grow closer to them as you learn their likes and dislikes, their mannerisms and their shortcomings.

Welcome to the group, Magungo1066. You have a great gun to play with and I know you will fast grow to like it even more. My TVM smoothbore is similar to yours except for a 38" barrel and no cap on the muzzle end; we even have the same lock.

Thanks Hanshi! This is my first smoothbore and my second flintlock. Any tips/etc that I should know about? Regarding the TVM or smoothbores in general? Thanks,- Larry

Magungo,

Thats a very nice Fowler 👍 and man let me tell you...your going to love it!!! From shot to round ball get ready for some fun! I also have a TVM .62 Fowler 42” cylinder bore and by far it’s my favorite of my flinter’s. Oh and one last thing from the President of the No Rear Sight Smoothie’s....
