Just came into a very nice .54 (.53) Uberti made Hawken. Got as part of a bigger group. I do not have it in my hands yet. Has a pristine bore and would rate overall at 95%+ due to a few "safe dings" on stocks and metal. Very minor. The only distracting issue is that the tang has two tapped holes for a tang sight. No filler screws. This gun will be sold, so looking for a good price range. I saw some posts from several years ago with numbers, but that was then, this is now. Thanks in advance.

I just did a search of completed sales on Gunbroker and the most recent auctions had one sell for $450, one for $507, and one went for $582. The last one was SN 5038, so not one of the Western Arms Corp Santa Fe Hawken rifles. It had a maple stock with pretty nice curl though the stain was so dark it didn't show to its best advantage.

The prices for these rifles have been pretty consistently in the $500 to $600 range for the last several years. Some may go higher and some lower depending on condition and interest in a particular auction. I estimate that Uberti made around 10,000 of these rifles before discontinuing them for the last time around 2005. Leonard Allen of Western Arms Corp had an exclussive deal with Uberti for the first 3,000 of these rifles. After that, many other companies imported them and sold them under their name such as Allen Firearms, Cimarron, Log Cabin, Track of the Wolf, and Dixie Gun Works. Uberti even set up a US import company that sold them directly.
