I went to an estate sale today and among other things picked up a small green tin of Martignoni caps, they appear to be 10 or 11. Made in Italy. I have never seen them before and was wondering if any of you folks know anything about them? Thanks so much.

Kind of neat looking.

I still have about half a dozen containers of those and you are right they are hard to remove. It seems the metal is thicker than current made caps. I still occasionally shoot a few and they still work. I've been told they are more corrosive than newer caps, but with BP it doesn't make much difference because you need to clean well right away anyway.
