This rifle has been shot, but not by me. It is a .45 cal. percussion Pedersoli rifle. It does not say "Kentucky" on the barrel. The ramrod is not wood. If there is a real interest I will get pics. $550.00 + shipping

I may be interested in the rifle, depending on what model it is. Can you provide pictures please?

Can you provide the barrel length?
That appears to be the standard percussion Kentucky (single trigger is a clue) or depending on the barrel length - an early Dixie model (most had double set triggers).
Older ones have an open hook inlet on top, later ones are solid.
I have an early kentucky and an older Dixie, one in a converted flintlock.
Is there any wiggle room on the price? If it's a short barrel it's pretty close to retail.
If it's a long barrel Dixie I am definitely interested.

I am not very knowledgeable about the differences in the Pedersoli's. The barrel measure 35 1/2 form end to breech, if I measured it right.

Were all the questions answered to everyone's satisfaction ?? The SALE price on Dixie Gunwork's for this rifle is $695... If there is an interest I will let it go for $550 and I will pay shipping.

What is the light discoloration beneath the trigger guard at the opening of the trigger channel? Is there chipping or just a bad pic? Close up pics of the patch box? Condition of bore? Thanks.

I, now, would like to trade this .45 rifle for a .54 caliber rifle. I cannot use a .45 to hunt in Colorado. If using round ball, by regulation, it has to be .50 or larger. The rate of twist is whatever Pedersoli says it is...The discoloration by the trigger looks like some one propped it up with a dowel or something, can be fixed with a little sandpaper and stain, very little damage. The bore, well I do not have a bore light. This rifle is well balanced to me and has fine lines. I would take another Pedersoli in trade. I will consider "Hawkin" style...
