How would you describe the rifling? Intended for ball or bullet?
With a 1:60 twist, it’s definitely a ball barrel my friend. Douglas did make the barrel’s for TC when they were just starting off on their TC Hawken line prior to making them themselves. Could be an early barrel supplied to TC?

Respectfully, Cowboy

Hadn’t had my first cup of coffee when I wrote the post... thanks!

I believe a Douglas barrel in the caliber would actually be 1/66. They all were, minus some special order ones in 1/48, from my research.
Not necessarily my friend. I have a Tingle model 1962 Target Rifle in .45 caliber. Bob Tingle used Douglas barrel’s on his rifle’s. The twist is 1:52.

I would imagine Douglas would accommodate what ever the manufacturer asked for?

Respectfully, Cowboy
