PS, BTW, mine is a 50 CAL with set triggers, full stock, octagon barrel and yes it is heavy, but it share hangs and holds great when it is shouldered.they are still very much sought now a days.
 
AND YES THEY WERE CALLED A POOR BOY. NO BUTT PLATE, IRON HARDWARE, GREASE HOLE DRILLED INTO THE STOCK,ETC.it came in percussion and flintlock that were interchangeable, with a screw in vent liner. made by MURUKO I be leave in JAPAN. I know be cause I have one, I have had for 40? years.
Some may have called it a po'boy but Dixie called it their Tennessee Rifle,and they did have a butt plate.
