To me McHugh catches it perfectly. Extra swamped barrels to where the muzzle flare is still super thin. The wood follows suit and gets thinner and finer toward the front. Almost feels too delicate but it's not. I want to say most of his pieces are in the 6-7lb weight.

That second rifle is very nice and there is a lot I like about it, but there are quite a few things I don't. Personal preference stuff, not construction or style issues. Of course, not owning, or even getting to handle anything like either of them, I'm sure I'd be quite happy with one or the other.

That's not Kilroy that's Chad from WW2 or before .Kilroy was the marker of West Australian water pipes .

Or "Damn Coolgardie, Damn the track. Damn the Road both there & back !, Damn the water ,Damn the weather. Damn Coolgardie ALL together !."

Not sure if its Kilroys verse but same water pipe.' Heelerau' will know

I'd almost, no, I would walk barefoot over broken glass for either one of those beauties. Actually I did do that a number of times as a younger adult and never got a cut. If I tried that now I'd end up with bacon for toes.
