Is Barry Bohnet still alive??? Does anyone have his contact info? I’d like to ask him about my Jager he built in 1979. I use it all the time and I’ve just been curious to some of the things about it and who he originally built it for.

Yes, he is very much alive and a good friend of mine. I will check with him and ask if it is ok to give his contact info.

You could shoot him a pic of this and just forward me his response. Tell him it's pretty much my everyday rifle and I've kept it as new!

He said he vaguely remembers that rifle, and has a pretty good story about it. I will let him tell you.

Im'e still alive , most days, and could tell patrons about the 185 or so I've made most have UK proofs but not all, They are pretty well scattered but I kept a register .And on the underside would be No 68 74 or some such if they have that PM me but if not there not mine. Rudyard

Hey!!!! Thank you so much!!! I'll post some more pics right now! Who'd you make this for and when? Any details stories? :D

I have put nearly 2000 rounds through this and you can barely tell. It is my go to rifle next to my .22lr while on my farm. I make combustible cartridges for it and just keep a handful in my pocket when I'm on my tractor with it slung over my back. Never had a problem and seldom have any misfires between 50 or more shots. Just a perfect piece.
