I want to set up a sizer for just for Minnie balls. I'm having Robert Hoyt reline my 2 Band Enfield for .577. I would like to know which sizer you use and also who's dies seem to work the best and the size you use for a .577 bore. Recommendation for lube would be welcomed as well for use in the Mid Atlantic region. Anybody use either the heater plate or what appears to be the heater element that screws into the body of the sizer?
Thanks
Ferret Master

I do not do the same thing you've done or are looking to do. I have 3 Lyman 450 sizers, I use a heat plate from Midway.usa to lube for BPCR. For my 58 cal Ohaus and Lyman molds, if only a few then I lube by hand simply pushing a modified version on Bob Rollers lube into the grooves or if quite a few then I pan lube.

If your not at all set up with a luber / heater, but have a reloading press you may consider a Lee push through size die and pan lubing. Lee offers custom sizing dies, but you have to contact them. This may be a more cost effective option depending on how much you intend to shoot.

I use a Lyman and like it better than the RCBS but neither is more difficult to use than the other and they take the same dies. Jerry Harmon made the best dies but he's gone now, check with S&S Firearms. You will not need a heater for BP mini lube, no need to spend the $$.
