I don't know about much of them either but in the forth pic is the back screw hole broke?
on the lock... no way its made. and no on trigger. and I was just told this is from a 1853 french infantry gun.
This spot is what a meant.
The lock was made that way. A wood screw goes into the stock there and the lock plate is caught under the head.
