Welcome Bob! I'm from the Kutztown area but have hunted in the Poconos since the early 90's. Beautiful area up there and I love the peacefulness of the woods! I'll be going out next week with my Lyman 54, rebored by Bobby Hoyt from a 50 to 54. Bobby really knows how to make a barrel shoot better.

Welcome Bob, I live close to the Racetrack up on the Pocono Plateau. Love this place, I have the whole Bethlehem watershed and the state game lands. All kinds of good info on this site.

Hi Bob, greetings from the Poconos. Here's a shot from New Year Eve. Best wishes, dwc

Keep after it and you'll score. When I first started with the flinter, I was hooked and used it in all possible seasons. Makes you a better hunter I think. dwc

i agree i think everyone should learn how to shoot with a flintlock before learning how to shoot with any modern firearm, definintely think it would make everyone a marksmen!
