Hey guys,
I'm looking for a sutiable holster for my 58 Pietta with a 5.5 barrel that I can use as a everyday carry holster. Anyone have anything or seen something that would work?

Holsters that are already made has never suited me. I like a cross draw, because I carry a rifle. I just purchase the cheap fabric holster and sometimes modify it to do right by my out of form body. It is not designed for a life time, but neither am I.
Several places have the leather holster with dust flap for right and left draw, surprisingly, not that expensive. Just internet it.

Oklahoma Leather (or something like that). It’s inexpensive and meant for carrying. It’s thick too. I have the Slim Jim type, though I’m not sure if they have a shorter version meant for the Sheriff model.

I don't know about Oklahoma Leather, but I have got a couple of the inexpensive leather flap holsters that have a problem. The flap has a seam where it is spliced to the back of the holster. The back flap needs to be one piece with the holster. The seam is hard to holster weapon and I think would cause wear marks on pistols finish. Holsters can be got for right or left draw, or right or left cross draw.

Cheap leather is too expensive. I suggest looking at El Paso Saddlery or other quality makers, who will be happy to make you what you will like.
