All I have a 36 cal Shenandoah and I’m thinking about getting some conical rifle bullets by buffalo bullet from track of the wolf. The rifle has a 1:48 twists. I have it shooting PRB real good but I plan on shooting a meat hog or two with it and thought those 125 grain buffalo bullets would give me a little more knock down power... anyone ever shot these bullets before or any info would be great. Y’all have a blessed Sunday!!!!

I think you have a RB twist in that barrel, and it may have a hard time stabilizing them. A .350" RB only weighs about 80 grains. What manner of critter are you seeking more knock down power for?

I have the same gun, but I have never tried shooting conicals out of it. The 65 grain round ball has always been adequate to take the game I shoot with it, including some rater large coyotes that are notorious for being hard to kill.
