Well it took me 2 seasons but I got me a nice buck with my Fowler. Slipped into one of my favorite spots to hunt. It is where 3 oak ridges come together and enter the swamp. Well those bucks ease back into that swamp right at daylight and I was in the edge waiting on one.

Congrats.
Any shot details? We need to know!

B.
I had the Fowler loaded with 70 grains fff. I load my PRB on top of a over the power card and it seems to rock pretty good. I can keep it on a paper plate out to about 75 yards which is my max range. The buck was about 50 yards I was on the ground and had a big blow down to rest my gun on. Settle my front site And that flintlock went off as fast as lightning.

Excellent.

Good job on setting yourself up for success. My father taught me to hunt this way. We would put ourselves in a position where deer were going to go not where they are.
