I shot this buck with my custom built 54 and patched ball. This is my biggest buck to date. I shot it the second day of the firearms season here in Minnesota which usually falls during the rut. I usually hunt the muzzleloader season which is the end of nov through mid December when bucks are scarce as hens teeth.

That deer must have been huge. The photo of the rack on the left looks much larger than it appears while still on the buck. Congratulations!
 
That was a beautiful buck. Shot with a beautiful rifle.. Matt is right about bucks in muzzleloader season, scarce as hens teeth. I think they all go nocturnal by that late season .
