I recently came across this beautiful, custom built swivel breech flintlock at a local gunshop. There are no markings on it at all. I have been told that the rifled barrel is .48 caliber and the smoothbore is .56 caliber. It does not appear to have been fired, if it has it wasn't very often. There is some play between the stock and barrels where they swivel. I took the locks off to look for markings, but didn't find any. There are two nuts to tighten the gun up, but I'm out of my element and be decided to leave it for someone who knows more about it than I do.
I am out of my wheelhouse with this one.

Again, there are no markings anywhere on the gun. 20191107_200149.jpg 20191107_200100.jpg 20191107_195958.jpg 20191107_195923.jpg 20191107_195633.jpg 20191107_195914.jpg 20191107_200117.jpg 20191107_195546.jpg

I have been told that the value can range anywhere from $1500-$3500. I'm asking $1800 for it, because I don't know much more than I've already listed.

Feel free to shoot me an offer on it. I will do my best to answer any questions you have.

The barrels are 36.5" long and they do not taper. Yes, it is for sale.

Who ever made it ,It looks like a creditable job to me .Might been better had he used tapering barrels to get the weight of the muzzle end. Still nice work , Matter of taste and fancies I suppose .

You still haven't responded to questions / conversation I started on Saturday. Rapidly losing interest.

Sent message days ago.....no response.

Sorry about that, replied to.

It's possible that when you replied, you forgot to hit the "Start a Conversation" button at the bottom of the message window.
If someone forgets to poke that button, the their message won't be sent to the other person.

I suggest that both of you should click on the little envelope at the top of the screen and see if there's any messages there. If there is, perhaps replying to it again might resolve the problem.

Rifle is SOLD. Not sure how to change the status otherwise.
