Running a little low of some powder.
PVI has free shipping today and 12.95 Hazmat.
Doesn't take a lot pounds to make this a big winner.
I will be placing an order today.
Would anyone else in the DFW Texas region care to jump on board and save some money?
GROUP BUY!

I'll be up in North Texas a bit after Christmas... I could do with a couple pounds, say, of FFFg, or maybe 2lbs. FFFg and 1 of FFg?

I know your kidding but for those who don't already know this, it is illegal for anyone to sell any amount of real black powder to anyone without first having a Federal License for Explosives.

There is a way around this though.

A person can buy up to 50 pounds of black powder. If someone pays him before he actually buys the powder and he agrees, he becomes an "agent" for the person. He can be an agent for any number of people at the same time.
As an agent, he is then ordering and paying for the powder in their behalf.

When the powder is delivered, he is responsible for delivering the powder to them to meet his end of the agreement.

In other words, Bob can't buy 10 pounds of black powder and then turn around and tell his friends, "I've got some black powder I'll sell to you. It will cost you $18 a pound."

He can say, "I'm going to order some black powder. Do any of you guys want me to order some for you?" If they say, "Yes." and pay him the $18 a pound fee, he can then order the powder for himself and for the other people. When it arrives, the others can go to Bob's and pick up their order.

Why is it always some guy named Bob?
Why is Bob always your uncle?
Not that it has anything to do with the topic, and without getting into all of the British titles and fine details, the saying "Bob's your uncle" came from a thing that happened in Great Britain.
There was a nobleman named Robert (Bob) and he appointed one of his worthless, rather dim witted nephews to a high post position.
People were upset by this but they couldn't do anything about it because Bob was his uncle so the saying "Bob's your uncle" became a phrase meaning you'll be lucky or, things will work out for you (even though you don't deserve it).

At least, that's the way I heard the explanation.

Now, back to the Black Powder to Buy. :D

Of course Grizz, you are not reselling the powder, but transferring it based on an up front promise to pay. To keep this legal with regards to AFT.
Of course. It is pure cost, normally we pool money up front but distance this time was a factor. (S.A. to Denton)
I do not re-sell any powder. When I order it, it already belongs to someone else.
A couple of times on small quantities someone failed to show up for theirs.
When that happens I send them a note and donate the powder to the local 4H muzzleloader kids intro class.

Check's in the mail! Best, DC
