Does anyone know where to get a tang for a GPR? Or one that will work with the GPR breech plug? It doesn't have to fit the inlet on a rifle. It's going to be used on a pistol build from an orphan barrel.

If I disremember correctly, all Lyman tangs are built to match the mating barrel, and are serial numbered underneath so as to not be confused. Anyone who bought a new barrel was also sent a matching tang. I personally have never really found that mismatching created anything abnormal. If you can’t find one, I’m sure I could dig around and come up with one for shipping costs out of Alberta Canada.

A little pricey but it will probably work.

Walkineagle if you have one I'd be thrilled to take you up on it. Thank you for a most generous offer.

Let me dig around later today. We are off on a road trip first thing this morning for Thanksgiving lunch with family, than back for supper with more family. Its our Thanksgiving Day here in Canada. I will get back to you this evening.

Thank you sir. Lots of good meals the last two days for sure!
Anyhow, dug one out. A Lyman hooked breech tang from a GPR 15/16” barrel. The condition is perfect, blueing is wore down. Its the only one I could find. Please confirm it is what you are looking for and if so PM me the address and I will drop in the mail today/tomorrow.
