For the late T/C flintolocks. Used a frizzen for A Taylor and Company Kentucky model.
A little work shaping and grinding and it sparks well.
Did not touch any part of the original lock workings . I do have also a Lyman frizzen which works well also.

RMC also sells a modified Lyman frizzen for $29 that fits the TC locks. https://rmcoxyoke.com/product/tc-replacement-frizzen-please-read-description/
Yes I understand that. they work pretty well. I was taken back by the amount of sparks it produces this taylor retofit...I do not know if it is the metal involved but it sparks like mad...maybe better than the lyman...it all about keeping old T/C,s running. When major parts fail like the tumbler its over and I will pass whats left to the next guy/gal who wants to keep their old T/C lock going. Believe it or not they are going extinct. but there are upgrades if you wish. I believe in wearing things out. Is it not what this is all about?
