I think the topic really needs some description of what the caliber is, if it is a smoothbore or rifled and any other things that can't be figured out by just looking at the pictures.

Well, described as a, "Fusil des Chase," I would think it to be a smoothbore. Looks like a Centermark manufactured one to me. What gauge? L.o.p.?

Barrel .20 gauge .62 cal. smooth bore,
Overall length 57 1/2"
Pull length 15"
Drop at heel 3 1/2"
Barrel channel length 41"
Barrel channel size 3/4" round or octagon to round"
Ramrod hole size 1 3/8" x 7"
Lock mortise area 1 3/4"
Butt 5 1/4" x 2 1/8"

Like new condition, shot less than 10 times.
It looks identical to the one found on the Pecatonica River Long rifle Supply Co. site. I believe the lock is by R.E. Davis, because it has a circle with an R in it on the backside of the lock.
