Hello Toot, long time no see!

2 things;
Hard to test accuracy of an arm with variables like standing on your back legs.
also;
Which gophers do you shoot? ...The ones standing up, or those flat down hiding in the grass? :)

All the best from a Very Snowy Alberta! (crops about flat.....lots to do!)

Yeah, but if you're sighting in, you want to see "where it shoots" without the movement and flinching of free-hand holding...just sayin'...
Fix the flinching first!
They were not designed to be shot from a bench. That is why soldiers never carried benches with then to battle.

If one can't control flinch and/or call a bad shot they seriously need to back to basic training.

Testing ones gun is not the same as testing ones self, Brit.
We need to know how both perform.
What are we to do if we have a perfected load, that is really accurate, and never even know it through faulty handling?

Or beautiful form, yet a lousy load?? :)

If you flinch a bench won't help.
Wrong bench technic or bad positioning will give false results too. It's not a panacea. In fact from where I am, it's a cop out for lazyness, lazy towards training..

Archers don't use a bench but somehow get it together.
This of course is simply my opinion.
It is not necessarily correct or factual.
Each to their own.....

Can you shoot better groups than Mark and others Brit? .....................If you can't , it must be laziness on your part. :)
And in my part!

No harm intended, just fun...and each to his own of course.
