I have this 40 cal. Hawken makers name was H.L.Kingh Its a well made gun beautiful maple wood. The barrel is 13/16", 34" long, twist unknown. nice bore. 13 1/2" LOP. There is an old crack(seen in picture) its solid and if refinished would undoubtedly disappear. Sometime in its life someone put a shiny finish on it. But all in all a nice gun. Handles well and feels good pulling up. Asking $525. quick sell.....

The crack is bothering me , was it all the way thru the wrist ?
Did you do the repair ? Otherwise it appears like a nice gun..

I did NOT do the repair. The crack is only the piece under the hammer. Not close the wrist. It is solidly repaired. Just looks bad. This is the way I got this gun.
I back what I sell.. if its not what I say put it back in the box the next day and send it back. Nothing lost but the shipping.
