All right all you Pirates, Road Agents, and backwoods fighters, this one is just for you. I have shot this a few times and have owned it for a number of years. It is smooth bore of course and can be shot with round ball or shot. I have not measured the bore but .600-.610 seems to be an easy load and with a 14.5 inch barrel a tighter load would probably not bring much better accuracy. It is certainly more of a buck or bird shot gun and my .62 card and wad seem a perfect fit. I believe the quality is good for a India produced gun and the wood looks better than most I have seen. The lock spring is heavy and the trigger is a little stout. It seems to have lightened some over the years and I’m sure it could be smoothed up a bit. The bright finish on metal has been toned down and doesn’t flash as much as when new. The overall length is about 30”, weight is just around 5.5 pounds so it makes a handy little gun. These are advertised by several companies but they seem to be difficult to actually find in stock. I have included several photos to show condition and overall quality. The bore is clean and it has been well maintained. $525 shipped to your door in lower 48. Trades considered but I prefer the unusual, sort of on a target pistol kick at the moment. Please PM for additional info., photos, offers, etc. Thanks for looking.

Do you remember which company you purchased it from? Also, how is it at sparking? Some of the India guns has a reputation for being poor sparkers and/or having a soft frizzen.

Thanks

Woody

Woody,
This one has always sparked well and has not suffered any hang fires. I believe it came from Middlesex Trading Company 4 or 5 years ago. Please let me know if you need additional information.
Thanks

I'm sure you would tell us when the sale if finalized but, that's not the way I handle "sold pending funds" sales.
