Tandy leather. Saw some on ebay too.
I do my own leather work and if you have future leather plans it can be less expensive to buy a hide or 2 and cut your own. I've gone through close to 40 sqft of 9/10 leather this year making purses for granddaughters and holsters for myself.
Can't get 2.5 but I have found 2.25 at wally world that are good heavy leather cheaper then I could buy the blanks and cheaper then cutting out of my hides. Found them up to 54 inches long. For 12-15 bucks. Good to custom fit and put the buckle you want or just use the one on it which are decent and sturdy. Really good to inner split for magic braid. Can find sales of same on ebay that are good leather and some offer discount for bulk buy.

Another option if you are only looking for enough for one belt might be a local shoe repair shop or saddle maker. They are not common in all areas, but still around.

Hi Tom. Darn. Now I can't find them :( But I will look again tonight. Misplaced them somewhere. I'm sure they were 2 1/2" wide blanks, unstained. I remember getting them from H&B Forge in Ohio. They are not listed in their catalog. I just called them and asked for the blanks only, unstained.
Give me another night. I had 2 or 3 of them.

Hi Tom
Well, I found two blanks. But they are both stained brown and are only 1 1/2" wide. But then I remembered what happened to the other blanks. I sent them off to a pouch maker for a custom item. But he could not use them as he needed vegetable tanned leather for what I wanted. But he kept the blanks as he could use them on another project and discounted my new item.
Sorry for the confusion. Getting old I guess :(
But I know you can get the blanks from H&B as I have done before.

Dark Brown Belt.jpg
Processed Belt.jpg

2 3/4" wide and 1/4" thick dark brown belt blank 54" long and already processed for a big buckle.

Light Brown Belt.jpg

2 3/4" wide and 1/8" thick light tan belt blank 62" long

I'd take $20 for the thick belt and $15 for the thin belt.
Let me know if you're interested, I may even have a round buckle if you need one too.
Hope this helps, Paul

Paul; Sorry for not getting back to you, I just found your e mail. Is the thinner one good enough for a good weight I don't know if the quarter inch would be to heavy. Let me know if you can make the oval slot the buckle tongue goes threw, and if you can punch out the buckle mounting holes. I'll probably take the buckle also. Tom Is check ok? you can wait for it to clear your bank. I don't get out much because of copd, makes it a tough chore to go get a m.o. Tom

I found a custom trade tomahawk, war tomahawk in my plunder, would you consider a trade? if so then how a bout mounting the buckle and punching the adjustment holes as I don't have any leather working tools.

I'm sorry, but both the belt blank and buckle have been placed on hold from a PM received just moments ago.
If the situation changes, you'll be the first I notify.
