SOLD Very Nice full-size Kentucky rifle .50

Very nice .50 caliber percussion rifle, made in Spain. This is NOT one of those undersized kit-guns with two-piece stocks and shorter barrels (as if they made the barrel length decision based on what they could fit into the packaging).

This is a full-stock, one-piece with very attractive (and functional) patchbox. Double set triggers which are actually quite nice and crisp.

.50 caliber octagon barrel about 40" long, and from running some oiled patches down the bore (and looking at the nipple) I would say that this rifle may have never been fired (or if so, not fired much and cleaned really well). It looks to me to still have a coat of hard, dried grease from the factory.

There is a very minor surface crack between the patchbox and toe plate. Looks like just a minor inclusion in the wood from natural drying. Clearly not damage, and it seems superficial. Hardly noticeable.

I had a Traditions Pennsylvania Rifle that, although quite attractive, had a horrible stock contour (I could not sight down the barrel without mashing my cheek on the comb). This Dikar .50 has a wonderfully comfortable butt contour.

I can honestly say it's as nice as my Pedersoli full-size rifles from the same era (probably 80's or 90's production).
