I picked this .50 caliber bronze Parrot cannon up about two years ago at a flea market. Took a while to track down who made it, I ended up finding that it dates from the 1860's and was made by the Strong Firearms company.

They marketed it in their catalog as a safe alternative instead of using fireworks for the fourth of July so the kids wouldn't blow off their fingers with firecrackers. I'm keeping it with the original patina, not bad for $40.00, didn't even try to haggle.
