Some evil 4 wheeled beast killed my deer. Found him in the ditch across the road from my house. Had a couple pictures on the camera earlier this summer but nothing lately.

waiting for a return call from the DNR. Need a road kill permit (up to 1 year in jail and $3500 fine plus loss of hunting rights for 5 years if taken without a permit).

Finally got a hold of someone on monday. Met up and received the permit and when I walked out to the deer the only thing left is the head and antlers. Now someone tell me I don't have a coyote/fox problem.

Shame but there will be other deer out there. Sad that this one met his end the way he did but that is mother nature. It just wasnt in the cards for this boy to make it.

People around here drive with their head in the clouds. So many of those road kills are avoidable. Looked like a nice buck.
