Baker Rifle .60 cal smoothbore (made in India) in perfect firing condition
* super ignition
* Completly overhauled and tuned lock with rehardened frizzen
* Vent liner installed
* Browned barrel, slightly aged stock finish
* Takes .55 or .60 ball patched or wadded with 60 Grs. 2f good load
* not many rounds through it

Not my gun but I'll pipe in with a partial answer. What you're probably looking at is the lug for the sword bayonet.
