I was a member a long time ago, but have lost the old info and moved to a new state and email address. I began shooting black powder in 1974, and am now starting to reduce the accumulated items. Still shoot some .22 benchrest and Schuetzen, but the muzzleloaders are mostly stored.

At 72+ I'm done hunting, and sleeping on the ground is out (OK getting down, ut too hard to get up).

Just a few days ago, I called a taxi to take me to the hospital. While waiting, I felt down. I couldn't get up. The taxi arrived and called my cell. I said I was right inside, come get me. The cabbie said they weren't allowed to enter the house. I don't know why, it didn't occur to me to just tell him to wait a few minutes, while I called 911, and had a cop help me to my feet.
