I think if your going to run this as a bidding auction, every so often you should post the latest high bid (without saying who made the bid).
That way people who are interested will know where the bidding is and be able to decide if they want to raise their bid.
It will also allow people who are thinking about buying it know that the current price is higher than they want to pay so they won't bother bidding.

very nice workmanship I have one almost like it in flintlock, iron mounted large bow trigger guard iron belt hook. Hardware was from Green river forge, they havant been around since the 70s.mine has a maple stock with some curl , Siler lock , one thimble, .58 cal. shoots good. I had a friend that was a fair builder. I only about 50 or 60 bucks in parts that includes the lock. paid him what he asked for, 75.00. that shows you how old I am and how much in perestive the cost of parts are now. any way I hope you get a fair price for yours. Thank you for your comments. Building these was my hobby before kids. Maybe when they're gone and I retire I'll pick it up again. I just don't have the time to use them and some one should enjoy them.

Nice looking pistol.

Has it been shot and if so how much. Condition of the bore and is there any pitting?

Who made the lock and trigger?

Thanks

fdf

It has been shot for several years at 2 or 3 events a year. Just not in the last few years. And not in the foreseeable future. Hence the sale. Trigger pull is light, it's pretty accurate. Bore looks good to me.

Okay, will start at $200 to get things started. Like the trigger guard.
