Gentlemen thanks for the invite
I took the Pietta 1858 out today
My Very first time with a C&B revolver
Loaded it up with Pyrodex 28 grains ( because I was nervous)
( Pyrodex is all Cabela’s had )
Hornady 454 ball
And number # 11 cci ( because that’s all Cabela’s had )
Well the wife noticed when I got back , that I still had my fingers and eyes
Everything went well
I had a blast , I’m hooked
The cci caps had to be pinched to fit , not too much of a problem
I noticed after I fired the the pistol though , that the caps were fragmented
In pieces , is that because they were 11’s , or is this normal
Thanks guys
