Hello, gang.

Although I am not new to guns, my father passed away a little while back ago and left me a few black powder guns. I am new to black powder guns. I've shot them, enjoyed them but they were always his and I knew nothing further than pulling the trigger.

I am on here to learn as much as I can and hopefully get some help from some of you guru's on a few things.

Look forward to meeting some of you all.

Welcome aboard fellow Texican....
When you get time, start a thread in the Percussion and/or Flintlock sections and introduce your arsenal to us. We all LOVE gun porn here, especially the black art stuff!
And please update your profile information so we can get to know more about you.

Lots of us Texans on here that love the muzzlestuffers. Welcome from Van Zandt county..

Welcome, sorry for your loss. FIRST thing, in case you were not allowed to clean pops guns, THEY MUST BE CLEANED right after shooting em, black powder and especially some substitutes will corrode a gun FAST and humidity speed the process. Next dy can be too late

The REAL question, How many of us are REAL Texans and how many are imports?
The way I look at it, we all were imports at one time or another here in Texas. Hell Houston, Travis and the rest of the founders were all from back east. It's not where your from but whats in your heart when you get here. Texas is a state of mind. Embrace her history and culture and you can become a "Son of Texas"

Guess that answered that question for the Cowboy.
