I say "Like New Project" because I bought this off GunBroker a year ago , new and unfired from a guy who intended to hunt with it 20 years ago but lost interest.

In shipping, the toe of the stock broke off when the package was thrown around by UPS workers, and the gentleman didn't do a very good job packing it.

So, intending to turn this into a local "ham shoot" type fun match rifle, I bought a leather buttpad, sling, and a sling swivel. I installed the sling swivel into the screw hole where the butt plate was, and covered it up with the buttpad. My intent was to make a "hasty sling" shooting set up.

I bought a scope mount for a T/C Phantom scope, which I'll include. Also the factory rear sight. I myself had thought about using it for PA's inline/caplock season. But never did.

I fired maybe 20 round balls through it, cleaned it up and realized my true firearms passion has always been military type rifles , so this doesn't fit into things that I shoot.

Priced at $250 total, including USPS shipping. Let me know if you want signature or not. I can't go any lower, that's pretty much what a T/C barrel goes for these days. Worst case , get a used stock for it and you've got a nice New Englander. Any lowball offer messages or offers to trade for 2 quad tires and a half a can of Pyrodex will not be responded to.

I have A+ feedback on GunBroker under Stantheman86 going back to pretty much the day GunBroker went online.

I use anything you can mail or discreet PayPal

Do you have the piece that chipped off?

No that went off into the UPS nether world......I would think , you could fabricate a wood wedge, file down the stock and if you're handy could probably sand and fit a piece and it would look like nothing happened.

There is also no factory buttplate, I used a rubber buttpad under the leather slip on pad.

I'm pricing this accordingly due to this , would also be ok to leave as is and use as a woods banger or a first rifle for a kid.

I got a few good deals on some other stuff, just trying to move some things out vs having it sit unsold for 2 months to squeeze another $50 out of it.
