I recall that the French flints offered by Jack and Judy were the French amber flints. I have a couple that I have in reserve in my flint selection.

I also recall the excellent selection and great personal service that they offered when they were able to set up their shop.

Names on the business card are 'Jack and Jude', nice receipt is signed 'Judith'. ? My apologies to the Droesch's if I've misnamed someone in my OP.
Flints are indeed black French. Site offers both French amber and French black, and at same price.

I just received my order last week. These are great flints and I will continue to order from them. I have been down the road on picking out and buying flints and I must say, in my 50 years of shooting and buying, these are the best I have encountered. Mine were amber but they threw in a couple black for me to try.....

Great folks and a great product.

Do you have a website address? Always interested in new sources for flint's. Googling heritage products results in health food and auto parts links.

Ahh.....there is a hyphen in the website's address. Thanks I'll check it out.
