Hello, Sacramento area here. Came across this site while trying to find info on a CVA .50 mountain (?) pistol I obtained. Only other black powder I have is a 53 Enfield I use for civil war re-enactments.

The Shady Lady, heard of it, never been there. Lol I do my drinking at home. Less likely to throat punch some drunk moron. Lol.
 
Welcome aboard from eastern Tennessee. I used to do Civil War (War of Northern Aggression) re-enacting when I lived in Georgia. I belonged to the 30th Georgia Infantry. Got out of it and sold my Enfield and bought a .50 cal. flintlock and started my mountain man re-enacting.
 
Eastern TN, ancestors from there too! Lol
I’d do mountain man too but no time and not that popular out here in Kalyfornya, People’s Republyk Of. Now if we move to SC, I’ll get into FIW, SC militiaman or RW militiaman. I’d possibly look for an ancestors unit, 1st VA Bn.
