Hmm, once again a lefty gets burned Actually, that's the reason I only shoot left-handed firearms...shot a right side flintlock once - lost a bit of the beard
I am right handed but left eye dominant. Complicates things. Can not shoot a shotgun with both eyes open for example. Remember as a kid shooting a rifle right handed but trying to sight with my left eye. Pistol shooting is simple. Use left eye to sight whether shooting left or right handed.

I shoot rifles right handed with right eye. Hand guns are fired right handed but come up on target always with left eye. Learned to live with it. Fired expert in USMC, that was before plastic rifles.

glad you mentioned plastic rifles. i was in a special out fit with the navy and i had to qualify with the USMC. i got the best target with a old 38 special s and w. all my rounds from the BAR and M1 was in the black. those city boys couldnt hit a bull in the behind with a base fiddle standing next to it. i grew up with a gun in my hand. it was my source of money before i inlisted. furs were worth somethng then. never fired a plastic rifle. used to skate on ice skates 7 miles round trip on the local river to make money shooting what ever i could sell to the fur dealer. boot camp was nothing, i was really really fit.

Since I had to play that video over about 25 times... I guess I must need a Derringer!
