Here's my latest project...put this together from a blank. It has a 12" .62 cal barrel. Used the photos of a French Dragoon from an European auction house. I assembled the lock from the small Siler kit. Assistance from this website helped me get it sparking properly and I'm grateful for the assistance. The lock should probably be larger but I wanted to assemble one to see how difficult it would be. The butt is shaped to my hand and the trigger pull was determined using a pattern cut out of a 2X6. I made the side plate and sight myself .
