My first Turkey with this new gun. It's a 62 cal and I was shooting what I would call the caywood load with corn muffin mix mixed with my 1 1/8 oz #6 shot hard lead. It was a 25 yard shot.

If I notice correctly only one feller took a long shot at turkey this spring and IIRC he did no fancy loading!

I did not weigh him but he had 1 5/16 spurs. That's pretty big for this area so I would say he was an older bigger
